Very well trained, neck reins, moves off leg, responds to voice & seat commands. No hesitation to walk through center of deep mud bogs, running streams or ocean surf. Crosses long bridges, carefully navigates rough terrain. Goes great in the arena as well. He can lay off for months and safely be the same horse. Will willingly lead or follow non-gaited horses. Patiently halts. Not herd bound. No buck, rear, spin, or bold. Not prone to spooking, reaction is to freeze & analyze. No vices in barn, stall, pasture or under saddle. Stands for mounting & dismounting. Ties, loads, clips, bathes, spray bottles, offers hooves, highlines, hobbles. Tough hooves, goes barefoot even on rocky trails. With halter in hand he greets you in pasture. Polite with pasture mate, not food aggressive. No soundness or health issues. No maintenance required, just pasture/hay & water.
