Pops is a sane, safe broke as they get 15.2 hand 1200 lb hunk of a fleabitten grey quarter horse gelding. He has spent most of his life working for a living and has some arthritis in his knees to prove it. He walks out great but Pops would be best suited to a walk trot home with littles. I give him Previcox for long rides and he does great. He has spent the past 2 years as a confidence builder for a young inexperienced rider who with his help has moved to a faster horse. Pops is ready for a continued relaxed life of taking care of the little ones. You can turn them loose with out a care. Pops will take care of them. He has had a vet check with a negative Coggins test. Good heart and lungs with no visible tumors. Recent trim on his good hard feet with emphasis on correct angles to help his knees. The tiniest of kids can pick up his feet. Body balance/chiropractic adjustment July 2021 with no continuing care needed. Full dental August 2021. Pops is a dream to handle (wish all horses were like him.) Catches you, puts his head in the halter and bridle willingly. Loads himself in ANY trailer and backs out slow and quiet. Ties quietly all day. Saddles with impeccable patience. Follows you wherever you go. Soft one handed neck rein with a great stop. Kids can hang on him, crawl on him, flop around like fish on him and he doesn't care a bit. Middle of the pecking order. Gets along by himself or with others. Not herd or barn sour.
