His bloodlines date back to High Brow Hickory, Doc Bar, Smart little Lena, and Doc O’Lena. Smooth As A Cat who is Evi’s granddad has also made an impact on the cutting industry earning more than 31 million with his offspring earning an average of 2 million. Smooth As A Cat has 177 championships and reserve championships under his title. Evi was started and finished by trainer Mike Ross of Mike Ross Horsemanship who has an outstanding track record with competing and who owns Smooth Cat Rey with lifetime earnings of $501,874. Evi has a wonderful disposition and is a dream to ride. She is blind in one eye BUT, it does not effect her in anyway. This is the ONLY reason she sells as is. She can do honch turns, side passes, sliding stops, roll backs, collects nicely and is push button with your leg ques! She has been branded on, roped off of, and will work cattle all day!
