Chanel s a 14.3 hands, 13 years old, Kentucky raised, pure bred, Rocky Mountain racking horse with the most amazing temperament. Papers were never filed for registration unfortunately but it doesn’t make her any less of a horse. She was born and raised in Kentucky and had the same owner her whole life. She hasn’t been passed around and this is her first time to town. She is gentle, quiet minded and very easy going. Chanel has been rode all over the Olympic national forest and would be a beginners back country dream to ride. She will highline, ground tie, and has been on over night camping trips. Chanel is easy to catch and can easily be handled on the ground by a child or senior individual. She is well behaved and quiet minded to ride. She only goes as fast as you ask her. Chanel sat for 2 years untouched, was caught, saddled, and rode off and didn’t act like she had any time off at all. When asked and pushed forward, she will gait/ rack at 35 mph but will only go as fast as asked. She is a very kind and sweet mare that will do anything for you. Current negative coggins and a new full set of shoes so she’s ready to hit the trails anywhere. Wormed on 5/1, 5 way vaccine due in august. Soft feet on gravel, does best with shoes on the rocks.
