Mae Belle and Maggie. Mae Belle is a 12.2 hands tall, 4 year old Standard Jennet. She is super gentle, meets you at the gate, and stands to be tacked up and trimmed. She packs with both a sawbuck and panniers as well as with a saddle and saddle pack pannier bags. She has been through a 60 day packing refresher and stands quiet in every situation exposed to during training. She has not packed fresh meat, but would anticipate no issue. Mae Belle is a lead jenny and will pony or lead while 'pulling' young donkeys or more resistant donkeys without fuss. She will go out alone or with a string. She would also make an excellent steer or colt/filly 'breaking/starting' donkey. Mae Belle is being sold with her 6 week old jenny foal, Maggie. Maggie has been haltered and is worked with daily. She is a sweet, curious jenny foal, much the same as her mother. Mae Belle has also been exposed to a standard black jack since foal heat. Both are sound and easy keepers.
