Zippos Sweet Glory- 2004 APHA registered mare. “Penny” is a granddaughter of ZIPPO PINE BAR(inducted into the AQHA hall of fame in 2000) and a Great Granddaughter of BARLINK MACHO MAN(inducted to APHA hall of fame in I believe, 2016.). She is broke to ride(not fancy broke), I’ve seen her old owner ride her but we have never ridden her ourselves. She loads, hauls, and unloads great. Stands tied, loves to be groomed, but needs a patient handler with her feet, and I have not ever bathed her. She does have a touch of arthritis in the right front shoulder, but no pain! She’s been trail ridden, ridden down the road, and seems to enjoy the adventure! She doesn’t seem to care who she’s pastured with, as far as mares and geldings, but she will gladly hang out alone, or welcome a low totem buddy to hang out with her. She doesn’t fight to be higher on the totem pole. She’s been in heat once since she’s been here, and didn’t change behavior wise. She’s a super sweet mare who needs her special person. She would make some well bred, beautiful, colorful babies, and probably give them her calm mind to boot! We are moving out of state, so she needs a new home!
