Stetson is a stout kind hearted horse looking for a trail riding family of his own! He is very green broke with an honest start. He is NATURALLY GAITED and does a true Foxtrot and will also regular trot. He ties well and is used to being handled by lots of different people, he is tidy in his stall and low man on the pecking order in the field. He is easy to catch, and a gentleman for the farrier. He does not clip. Has been sacked out and learning in hand trail elements. He has seen trail ridden a handful of times at Elijah Bristow walking over small water crossing, logs, large bridges, encountering deer all with no issues. UTD on vaccinations. Due for a trim on 18th farrier says hes got the best feet in the barn! They dont chip and have excellent shape. Stetson will do best with one person whom he can bond with, he will take awhile to warm up to you but is easily swayed with cookies. He will not flourish with someone trying to flip him. He has one small cosmetic scar on left front cannon bone. It was a poorly healed cut that he had when current owner got him over a year ago, it was attended by a vet and healed to the best of our abilities. See photos.  5417458861.
