AQHA Hights Gray Badger Badger has quite the resume and a pedigree to go along with it. He’s by playlight, an own son of Grays Starlight, along with freckles playboy, dry doc, doc hickory, bar money and king Leo Bailey x2. He’s 15.1 hands and built like a brick house at 1150Lb. He’s a true gentleman with a business like personality and better manners then most people. Badger is like driving an automatic car. He’s been referred to as a Cadillac by many people that have ridden him. Badger has been used for every job extensively on the ranch— in the branding pen, gathering in the rough country, doctoring in the feed lots and open pastures, tagging, pairing out, he’s loaded hundreds of semi trucks, he will push a cow up the ramp and into the truck himself. he’s so much fun to sort on in the alleys with some big and powerful movement. He’s VERY cowy and will stick on a cow like glue. He side steps both ways to open and close gates so you don’t have to get off. Goes through water and deep mud. He’s very easy to ride with a one hand neck rein, moves well off your leg pressure, quiet minded and gentle. He has nice easy gates, walk/trot/canter on a loose reign, he’s not a runaway and only goes as fast as you ask. He’s good for just about anyone to ride. He’s a dream down the trail, just point and go. Over fallen trees, through rivers, crosses over bridges. He’s just a really nice gelding that would make anyone proud to own him. It gets better! Badger is a finished head horse, stays quiet in the box, runs hard to the cow and is very competitive. He’s been hauled competitively to college rodeos and jackpots. He’s a pretty darn good heel horse as well. He’s good for any level of roper and will take care of his rider. He puts you right there on the cow every time. Badger is 100% sound, sane, and ready to go. HYPP N/N, HERDA N/N, GBED N/N, PSSM1 N/N, MH N/N He has a current coggins. Call (360)477-8356
