Katniss 8 year old grade bay mare. Standing 15 hands. She is considered green. Not for a beginner or kid. Needs a confident person as she sometimes is unsure and looks to her person to guide her. Has had 60 days with a trainer as a re start, while getting a foundation in the arena, she has a defined walk/ jog/ trot,/ canter, while also learning lateral buttons and counter bending and stopping off your seat. She was also started on showmanship maneuvers and seemed to enjoy it. Katniss is a beautiful mover and while doing well with arena work she absolutely loves to be outside. Will cross through water, ditches and bridges with no problem. She would excell in mountain trail as she is smart with her feet and bold over obstacles. She bathes, ties,( with a tie ring as she has pulled back before) trailers, stands for farrier. Has nice strong hard feet. No shoes required. 503-602-8874
