Shadow is a broke gelding that has been used on the ranch and in the mountains. Shadow has been turned out for a couple of years and recently brought back in and he saddled up and rode off (previous owners description). I purchased him in October, 2022 after getting back into riding and he is simply too advanced for me. I would consider myself a rusty-intermediate rider and he needs an advanced confident rider to tune him up. My dad (in photos/video) is 65 and confident but doesn't have the energy to ride Shadow with the confidence Shadow needs. He neck reigns perfectly, has energy and you can tell he was once trained impeccably. He just needs a strong rider to show him the way. We can easily trim his front hooves but he doesn't like his back hooves being worked and we haven't had a farrier out to take care of them yet.
