Sale Name: April 14th Horse Auction
LOT 84 - Magnum - 16yr - 14.1HH - Gelding
ELA Soundness Policy   Covered
Registered   No
Breed   GRADE - Not Registered
Story   Magnum is a 16 year old, 14.1 hand Grulla gelding. I bought Magnum back in 2021. He was meant to be my trail horse and life just got in the way and he really hasn't been used. Magnum needs a person who will give him a job to do more than just a couple months out of the year. He is friendly, stands for the farrier, loads and hauls nicely. He moves nicely and handled all the obstacles I rode him through when trying him out to purchase. I would say he is more for a confident rider. He will have a couple weeks of time put on him before the sale. Magnums faults are he doesn't like to be tied alone. He does fine with another horse tied next to him. The other fault is he needs to be either by himself or with geldings only. He acts like a stud when around mares. He doesn't mount them but drops and is very protective of them. He is an awesome trail horse. He loves water, crosses bridges, goes through rough terrain, over logs and he is very sure footed. He is great with ponying other horses and he doesn’t mind getting bumped into or crowded.
